AP Source: UAB fires basketball coach Mike Davis (Yahoo! Sports)
A person familiar with the decision said UAB has fired basketball coach Mike Davis following his sixth season, a year after he led the Blazers to a fourth-consecutive 20-win season and the NCAA tournament. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because no announcement has been made.
