Wizards coach Randy Wittman couldn?t stop Jeremy Lin, and his son noticed

It's one thing to watch as your heady veteran leader and hopeful wing scorer watch as Jeremy Lin waltzes in for a dunk after crossing over your franchise player. It's another thing to take in a text from your son, if you're Washington Wizards coach Randy Wittman, burning you to pieces for your inability to stop Knicks guard Jeremy Lin from dropping 23 points and 10 assists in your team's face in a blowout loss.

Clearly, Ryan Wittman (pictured above) wasn't mindful of that as he busted out his phone and got in touch with his father late Wednesday night. As relayed by the great Michael Lee of the Washington Post:

"Randy Wittman had to absorb an equally painful text message from his son, Ryan, who played against Lin for four years in the Ivy League at Cornell. "He told me that they did a much better job guarding him than we did tonight," Wittman said with an uncomfortable chuckle. "Makes Dad feel good."
